Pink or Chocolate?

I made the chocolate card first, my mom wanted a card for a lady who turns 50 at the weekend, so I did that card this morning.
I was feeling so sad that Roses in Winter is being discontinued that when I saw the color challenge for today, I decided to make the same card, but in pinks, so now she has a choice, lol, I prefer the chocolates, but maybe the lady will prefer the pinks.

Details of the cards
Pink card
sets - Roses in Winter, Floral, Linen, Papertrey Faux Ribbon
card - Pink Passion, Pretty in Pink, black, white
inks - Pink Passion, Pretty in Pink
accessories - brads, cricut, ribbon, sponge

Chocolate card
sets - the same
card - Creamy Caramel, Close to Cocoa, Chocolate Chip, white
inks - creamy caramel, Close to Cocoa, Chocolate Chip
accessories - the same

So which do you prefer? :)

pink...but only because the chocolate makes the bday card seem to somber, and as we know, 50 is the new 40 and that's not old! ;)

I love all browns - so I prefer the first card. HOWEVER, I do agree with Tammy - it is a little somber.... Depends on what the birthday girl is like -- is she more traditional or funky?

I am so not a pink girl, and I love chocolate, so I vote for the chocolate one! The ribbon idea threaded through under the major image section is brilliant!

Both are just gorgeous, but the Chocolate has a bit more depth to it...so that has my vote. These are so beautiful, Alli!

Hmmmmm..... did someone say chocolate? Love them both - but I think the chocolate one is more gentle and has a faded gentility to it. Oops, best not mention that to the recipient!

They're both pretty, but I agree with you. The chocolate one is my favorite, too.

mmmmm chocolate! Love both cards but the browns are so different and fresh. Thanks for sharing. Mary

The brown has more depth and contrast and the frillier bow, but I'm such a pink fan, that I could go either way. They're such pretty cards.

I am totally a brown lover, but I think the pink one looks cheerier.

I like the chocolate one better myself, but the pink one is beautiful too! I guess it depends on the person.

Alli, you are doing amazing work!

Ally, those are both gorgeous! But since I am a EE girl at hard, I have to see the Chocolate one appeals more to me.
Hugs!

I think the pink because I love the way the black looks against it. Girl, you are on a roll lately. Great stuff.
