Just call me ditzy!

This is the card I made for the color challenge on Splitcoast yesterday. I am so happy with it, apart from one thing, I forgot to color the leaves on the top panel! :) So, just call me ditzy.

I could have retaken the photo as I have colored the panel in now, but I thought it was more amusing this way, lol. I must have looked at that panel 30 or 40 times before I uploaded it to my gallery and I still didn't notice until I looked at it close up.

I think this card looks like an old-fashioned quilt like one that my grandmother had.

The set I used is In Full Bloom and the colors are Real Red, Sage Shadow and Black.

ETA: For Jenn in GA, this shape card was actually a sketch challenge on SCS a while ago, the hostess of the challenge left the dimensions on her original card here

http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/photo/410097?cat=500&ppuser=23790

The challenge was SC99 if you want to look it up on Splitcoaststampers. I hope that is helpful. :)

This is wonderful, and I've been looking for unique ways to use this set!! Great job--would you please share dimensions of the pieces? Thanks!

I am in AWE of this card! I would leave the leaves (unpainted). An artist's touch. TFS

Ok, ditzy, I can't even tell about the leaves! This is gorgeous. I think I will steal this design to send to non stamping friends. Love the colors too.

What a completely gorgeous card! Thanks for sharing your card while it still had a few uncolored leaves--I've done stuff like that before, too, so I'm glad to hear I'm not the only one. :D

Hi girl! I am glad you made a card you like. I like this one, but I liked your other two as well!
You are too hard on yourself. Hugs!
